I have very dry hair to and stopped using shampoo. I just wash it with water it and use a good conditioner

There are lots of hot oil treatments and hair masques you could give a try.

My ends are dry but my scalp is normal and easily gets oily . So I buy normal shampoo with an intensive conditioner for my dry ends. Luckily most shampoos suits me . Maybe consult a hairdresser and you may need a specialised one for your needs. They do tend to be dearer though as they are exclusive brands .

yep hairdressing advice here from a hairdresser lol. give your hair a good deep condition once a week. Yes cheaper conditioners can do the trick but i love De lorenzo. this range has some wonderful products to add moisture. there is an oil that you spray onto your hair, leave it sit for 10mins then shampoo out as normal and that really helps to moisturise and soften the hair. Another trick that i use for my self is after conditioning, only just rinse it out and leave the product residue on your hair. Stop rinsing before your hair gets to the squeaky stage and this helps to keep it soft. Great trick if your hair is not oil prone. Obviously reduce the amount of heat styling that you do.

Hairhouse Warehouse often have smaller more trial like size bottles or sachets of Argan oil or other hair oil treatments that you can try for a fraction of the price. Everyone’s hair is different so it may be a case of trial and error, but at least this is a less expensive way

Last time I was at the hairdresser, she suggested Morrocan oil for my dry hair, she applied some so I could see the difference. It added shine for sure

what about a Moroccan oil treatment?

A hair treatment once a month will improve the condition of your hair.I have used salon products and supermarket products as well and you can see the difference!

Hair oils are great, but in the past i have used olive oil out of the cupboard, you heat it for about 20 to 30 seconds in the microwave till just warm. and apply to your hair, put on a shower caps or wrap you head (hair)in cling wrap and leave on for 5 to 30 mins depending on how much time you have the longer the better but the first time i would do it for a short period of time. Then rinse your hair and was as you normally would to get rid of all the excess oil. This brings back shine and helps the split ends and is cheap to do.

I have used Argan oil too – when on special at Aldi. No need to pay top dollar for it!
