Welcome to marriage. Turn him on his side… that helps for me. If he snores on his side- sorry. You’re doomed. Just go to bed first.
1. Go to bed first.
2. Earplugs. I keep an earplug in one ear when I’m falling asleep and I sleep on the opposite side. (Mine is to tune out the cat, but it works on my husband too.) ????????
There is one retired racing car driver that used them as it helped him keep his airways open better in the heat in the car. They didn’t have cool suits then.
I am a sleep technician and there are a lot of new devices out now for snoring, but first look into why he snores e.g overweight, nasal passages blocked either due to a broken nose Previously. There are many reasons and it’s not just over weight people . I would consult and ENT Specialists first. All the best.
Get him to have a sleep study done, sleep apnoea can reduce his length and quality of life, as well as yours due to lack of sleep.
Try Rescue Remedy Sleep and if that all fails, make sure you get to sleep before him so you hopefully don’t hear him!!!!
we have a guest room and when my partner snore wakes me up, I go sleep in there.
he tried the strips, he snores not only on his side, but on his back too..
pretty sure he has apnea, but since its doesn’t bother him, he wont fix the problem
You can buy a special clip the goes on the nose, but also could look at what is causing it, he may need to talk to a doctor if he is really bad. Try looking at the pillow he uses, I find wool pillows are the best.
I would check him for Sleep Apnea as my brother in law used to complain about his wife constant snoring and found out she and most of her siblings have it so it could also be inherited in the genes. Now with the machine she is breathing much better with less complaints.
