Yes, I’ve done many parties at the local park as well and they’ve always been a success. Just bring foods and invite kids with parents and siblings and guaranteed it will be fun. You can add some fun by bringing face paints or make up and nail polish and create a pampering corner

We had our first childs party at Macdonalds ( Maccies ) just like everyone else ! They supply everything so I am sure it wont be too much on your budget . Enquire at your local branch .

Local parks are always a good option. A big playground will keep the kids entertained for hours! & you don’t have a huge clean up at home later on.
Home parties are also good, despite the clean up, because you have everything on hand, fridge for the cake & cold drinks, oven for party pies, sausage rolls & fresh cup cakes.
There’s plenty of games you can play, you can buy multiple cheap toys from The Reject Shop or Cheap As Chips for pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey, musical chairs, simon says. You may even be able to google how to make your own pinata.

Parties at home are usually cheaper than other alternatives; minimal food and drink as the kids just want to run around and play! Sweet and savoury finger foods and easy games; pass the parcel and other such games. Otherwise at a park; however easier to keep an eye on all the kids at home!

Parties at home are the best for this age. Parents feel better knowing the kids are behind gates and not out running around a park with who ever. Bit hard to monitor kids when they are mixed in with locals enjoying the park too. Kids like a few structured games and a prize. Cake and finger food and a parting gift could be hand made Toffee Apple. Very cost effective.

Why not see if you can go into her kinder on her birthday or as close to it and take a cake,if allowed and do a craft activity. That way she gets to be the birthday girl you get to celebrate it with her and her friends but it’s without the expense of a venue. Most kindred love to gave a parent on duty to help out.

The last three years we’ve gone to a park and asked everyone to bring a plate of food instead of a present. It’s cost maybe $30 to buy napkins/plates/cups/cordial and goody bags are usually bubbles. We took stuff for pass the parcel, treasure hunts etc. but we can never pull them away from the play equipment long enough to do it

Why to try a local park, take some cakes , pass the parcel and a few outdoor activities.. Kids at this age just run around.

Definetly home party, try an old school party, full of the games we used to play, like pass the parcel, or musical statues
