I just read about the positive effect on the newborn if you wait to cut the cord- till it stops pulsating or the placenta is birthed. My daughter came out not breathing so the cord was cut and she was whisked away within seconds of me giving birth. I have since read that she would have benefited more from being rescuscitated whilst still attached to me. Whats everyones thoughts on this? Has anyone demanded a delayed cord cut?
