I’ve tried a few over the counter ones and found them not to be useful at all.

They’ve never worked for me, but my husband swears by them. So I guess you might have to try them and see if they work for you.

I think they do help in the treatment of symptoms. If it’s a hard core hay fever you suffer, you may need a combination of nasal spray, tablets and eye drops to get relief

I’ve found a combination of nasal sprays, eye drops and anti histamine tablets work best to keep allergies under control

My son used prescribed nasal sprays for his hayfever and they did the trick. He only used them when things were really bad tho. I think the saline nasal sprays are pretty good too, they flush the nostrils out for some relief

Yes, Nasonex for me is the best.

I find Nasonex isnt too bad but sheesh its expensive. Last time it cost $47 for a bottle. It gave me some relief but not enough to buy it again. If I stay on top of my natural hayfever supps and keep up the probiotics my immune system combats it just as good as the spray (easier said than done hey)

Yes for my husband they work, he gets pretty bad heyfever and he finds relief in the sprays! 🙂

Yes l have used nasal sprays and it cleared up the problem,consult with the chemist if you have any issues!

I’ve had two children on them, on advice from the GP. They each responded to a different spray. One found Nasonex was great, the other didn’t. He had Rhinocort and another on script. They use them seasonally, but they do need to use it every day in that season to work properly. Good luck, I hope you find some relief.

A few years ago I was coughing non-stop due to some allergy . I used a nasal spray prescribed by the doctor and it worked for me . Just be careful as overuse can lose your sense of smell. I think I may have lost a bit of it , but nothing too worrying . I would try allergy tablets first as I don’t like using them especially when you have to spray up your nose !

I use Nasonex. It’s quite effective but you need to use it everyday so you build up your resistance to hay fever and allergies.

Yes, I found them very helpful. You need to ask for advice from your pharmacist as some are suitable, others aren’t. One of my hayfever symptoms is earache, mainly in one ear. Every so often it feels as though somebody is tipping hot water in it and I get short bursts of severe pain, enough to bring tears to my eyes. I have used two different ones. One of them is Rhincort. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the other one.

I have never had them work for me, but i guess they must work for some people..
