I hope you were able to get some pain relief. Tooth and gum pain related issues are the worst. I use a numbing gel quite a bit when I’ve had issues.

I find getting a really good sensitive toothpaste & rubbing it on the gum where the toothache is coming from helps enough to cope.

If you’re looking for pain relief for a toothache, you need something with codeine in it, which I think is now difficult to buy over the counter. Go to your chemist, you can actually get pills specific for toothaches

Panadol is my answer when required!

Oil of cloves on a cotton tip its tastes feral but it numbs it an actually works

Chewing on raw onion. Rinsing with warm water and salt. Or try drinking peppermint tea, just make sure you infuse the tea for atleast 20mins the swish around in your mouth.

Old remedies like: 1) dab a small amount of clove oil on a cotton ball and apply to the affected tooth. 2) Ice cube wrapped in a cloth and apply on the area to numb the nerves from pain.

I guess it depends on exactly what is causing your tooth pain. (Infection, abscess, decay, chipped or broken, gum issue etc). My go to is clove oil but you said that didn’t work. At the chemist there’s a mouth liquid you can buy that’s a combination of both an antibacterial and a anaesthetic/numbing agent. It’s green liquid and more expensive than the plain antibacterial but the numbing stuff in it works wonders. Otherwise, again at chemist you can ask for a tube if lignocaine. It’s a gel and that’s also a numbing agent. Very strong and behind the counter. Other than getting to the dentist quickly and finding the cause of your pain these are the things I can reccomend. I recently went through this before having to have a tooth extracted (I have an irational fear of dentists). I found I had to use both Nurofen and Paracetamol, as well as a sensitive toothpaste massaged gently onto the tooth and gum. My tooth also felt slightly better with cold, so I was drinking lots of cool water. Hope you’re able to get it sorted out with a dentist soon. Toothache is the worst! 🙁

Try to Chew on some raw onion, spit out and repeat every few minutes. Even go into the chemist and ask for some strong pain killers.

Look at natural remedies in Google and I think tea tree oil might be good. I would recommend you not wait for the dentist and tell him it is urgent as decay can get bad quite quickly. Good luck and hope it subsides soon.
