I use the Kmart one, and love it. It works perfectly for me, and is cheap compared to others with the same quality, and the blade is super sharp.

I got the traditional philips one where you can chop, shred etc and also comes with the jar to make smoothies. It is really handy, easy to store as not too bulky and affordable (see photo). I love it !

I couldn’t justify the cost of one either when all that I really wanted it for was making pesto and soups at the time. I bought an immersion (stick) blender which came with a whisk and food processor attachments. It’s one of the best decisions that I have made. It gets used for smoothies, shakes, baby food, you name it. Cleanup is a breeze too.

I’m looking for a new one too. I find that the one I have isn’t that great for things like pesto, biscuit crumbs etc. We also have a Bamix stick blender …..which I love. It is very sturdy and handles chopping ice and frozen berries etc. for my daughters’ smoothies. It is also super easy to clean.

I am looking for a good and reasonable food processor too. I have shortlisted Breville one. Was looking for some more suggestions here

I’d definitely recommend a nutribullet. A little dearer than a regular blender, however it is definitely worth it.

I have had Kenwood for about 20 years and still going strong. Love it!

I had a sunbeam one for nearly 10 years. Highly recommend. It cost about $100 from memory and I used it for shortbread, peanut butter, hommus and almond butter.

The Kmart one is surprisingly good and value for money. Also rated really good on choice

I am also in the market for new processor as mine was a cheap plastic one which cracked. I used mine for chopping veggies, making dough and pulsing some lentils.

I have a Breville, it wasn’t overly expensive, but I hardly use it. One of those things I thought I would use a lot and then just didn’t

I have a breville food processor and to be honest I don’t use it that often since it’s a pain to clean. It is however very handy and works great.

if you are unsure of outlaying the cost, why don’t you buy one second hand and see how much. you use it. You can find some cheap ones on Facebook marketplace, gumtree and in places like cash converters

Kitchen Aid is my favorite brand. & looks fine in our kitchen, hope the holds! xxx

I have a BERLINI from target it’s really good had it for 8 years and still going good.

I have one of the cheaper one and its ok for me.

I just have a Kmart blender from about $75, I cut and blend with it and it does for me the job. I do also a lot with the stick blender, which I find handy for soup sauces and smoothies.

I have a kitchen aid food processor and I love it. It’s on the more expensive side, but I use it for lots of things. I use it in place of a blender, making bliss balls, cookie dough, quickly slicing veggies for dinner, grating cheese or veggies etc. my favourite thing about my food processor is that it came with a free dicing attachment as part of a promo deal, so I can throw veggies in and have them evenly sliced. Great for soups, salad, and just avoiding dicing onion because I hate it! It’s my favourite kitchen item.
