  • I have faced this same issue postpartum and found that a deep conditioning hair masque used once or twice a week, and either a leave-in hair oil or serum applied when your hair is damp or dry. I like Wella Oil Reflections Light, Kerastase Nutritive Magic Night Serum, and Ori Lab Gloss Serum.

  • Toni and Guy hair masks work a treat

  • I have recently become a convert to the John Frieda Frizz Free range.

  • I recommend using Garnier Hair Food, especially the macadamia or banana one. They can be kept in as a leave in conditioner too which is perfect.

  • My hair has completely changed during and after pregnancy. I’ve gone from mostly straight with a slight wave to beach waves with a he’ll of a lot of fuzz. I still can’t find any products that suit me. Hope you do better.

  • I always just tied my hair back. Not the most flattering, but keeps my hair away from my face

  • John Frieda’s Frizz Ease range is very good and not too pricey.

  • Hair mousse! Cant be inhaled but controls the hair.

  • It changes again once your baby is born. In the meantime try a deep oil treatment.

  • I got some oils from my hairdresser. It helped alot

  • See if your hairdresser can suggest a product that suits your hair and can help!

  • Deep condition weekly,
    Use a silk Pillowcase,
    Switch to a microfiber towel,
Be gentle with your hair and say no to harsh brushes and combs.

  • Deep conditioning hair masks may help.

  • Hair like every part of a body during pregnancy needs attention; look after it well and it will recover after pregnancy. Frizzy hair can be tied back and styled to suit the hair type. A hairdresser is a possible good source of information and possible help.

  • You can try going to your local hair dresser for a treatment wash and blow dry. I found this to help straighten and thin out my hair. Though it was more of a temporary fix. Just check if the treatment is suitable for pregnancies, each hairdresser uses different treatments

  • Unfortunately it’s just what happens. In my case, the fly aways are from broken hairs. Then came the post partum hair loss. You can try hair masks and deep conditioning, but it might not help very much. The things we do for our little bubs hey haha

  • I always have hair that has a lot of body and is frizzy; I simply embrace it.
