I always used saline nose drops together with a wee suction pump prior to feeding.

A steamy bathroom and a bulb syringe should do the trick.

There are little plastic devises you can get to clear their nose. We call them snot suckers but not sure of what they are actually called. Try asking at your chemist

Steam. Get in the bathroom, turn the hot taps on, fill it with steam and sit in there for a while. Steam should loosen the snot and get it moving out. And Vicks on the chest and also on the souls of feet

yes hope this is cleared up now. can also steam the shower up and try to clear their nose. get the bulb thing for snot.

Fess nasal spray or drops with the aspirator to suck all the mucous away. The solution you squirt in is only saline solution

My son is a chronic asthmatic. Has been since he was born but technically not diagnosed until he was 18 months old. We used to have the same problem due to him always being sick. Best thing I found for a quick fix is the fess little nose suckers from the chemist. Please do not suck it out with your mouth like the old days. This can actually cause the baby damage as you don’t know how hard you’re actually sucking. For relief during the day and night buy a hamilayan salt lamp from a health food shop (around $30). It helps take the moisture out of air that causes sickness. This has saved my son quite a few hospital trips.

The FESS nasal spray is really great.

Definitely get a nosefrida, it’s the only thing that has worked for my babies. Check out the reviews, you will find they are fantastic. And it’s inexpensive too.

The solution is very simple, its just saline available from the chemist shop, it works the best, get the saline drops from the chemist shop, wait for 30 seconds for the mucus to loosen up and suck it with a nasal aspirator, that’s the only thing that works, and it does not have any side effects, hopefully it helps you also.

When my babies were at that age I used to give saline nose drops/spray 10 minutes or so before a feed and then use the balloon pump thing to remove the excessive snot.

I’d be talking to my Chemist and failing that my doctor. Sometimes this is hiding another another problem

Definitely go for Nosefrida. It sounds grose because you suck bank through a filtered tube to clear the mucus. But it’s perfect because you can feel the pressure pulling if there is still something there. And you can gauge how much pressure to use!

Can’t remember what its called but you get it from the pharmacy and it removes snot from littlies noses, Its a little sucker that you squeeze while up there nose and the snot is suppose to come out, sounds gross but it works

I bought a battery operated sucker called “snotty” it’s fantastic. The old fashioned way was to use your mouth. Fess is great too

We use Fess and we used the Nose Frieda snot sucker to help clear my little ones when they were stuffy.
