  • I like to buy in bulk when things are half price or on special. I’ve saved heaps on products by doing this. Also, try to check out the clearance sections of the shops! You can get some great buys and stash them away for birthdays & Christmas.

  • I buy alot of things of Temu. I just make sure I read the reviews properly first. I’ve only had a handful of dodgy stuff turn up. Saves alot of money.

  • I agree with meal planning and we also withdraw the amount of cash we set aside for our “entertainment ” like eating out etc. This is what we budget for (I know sometimes cash is not always possible) and helps us not overspend because with the card we tend to overspend. Also plan to only eat out or takeaway once in a while.

  • I have found meal planning the most helpful. Less waste and don’t need to buy as much. Also a couple of meals meat free makes a huge difference too

  • Meal planning will save you a lot over the medium term.

  • Planning on anything present wise so you can get it cheaper. Do a full clean out use up the food you have it’s amazing how quickly the pantry can accumulate. Clear out and sell stuff you don’t need. Look for extra income hobby etc that you can get income from. Audit all your expenses. It’s a tough time so if you need more help look up local services that can provide more support

  • I’ve been decluttering and selling items on Marketplace. It gives a little bit extra each week. I am also part of buy nothing groups in my area where we give away items. I’ve given away and collected wonderful things. Good for the budget and the environment

  • Go to the op shops for clothing or household goods. Can find some great bargains.

  • I go to the markets before closing and they are getting rid of produce at a reduced price. I can get a whole box of fruit and veg for the week for 10-15 dollars.

  • I would like to express my gratitude to Bsb Forensic for their exceptional assistance in recovering my funds from a forex broker. Their expertise and professionalism in navigating the complex process were truly commendable. Through their guidance and relentless efforts, I was able to successfully retrieve my funds, providing me with much-needed relief. I highly recommend Bsbforensic.tech , to anyone facing similar challenges, as their dedication and commitment to helping clients are truly impressive. Thank you, Bsb Forensic, for your invaluable support in resolving this matter.

  • Markets, i know the local one to me has great second hand clothes and the fruit and veg is very cheap. Also really think before you purchase something is it a need or a want and just avoid all wants for now.

  • I always have a shelf in the fridge for leftovers to make sure they are used, not wasted.
Many of my pantry items like tuna or cereals are regularly on at half price. I always stock up then.

  • I’m lost. I already do all these things, and more, to decrease my spending and I’m still going under. Hope you find something helpful in the comments section here

  • Cut back on entertainment, use discount coupons, check out weekly supermarket specials.

  • AND with a steamer it is kinder to second hand/charity shop clothes so you can save money on buying clothes at the same time!

  • Bit of a boring one maybe, but buying a clothes steamer – saves on using dry cleaners and uses less electrivity apprarently than an iron.

  • Second hand, market place finds!
Sharing between friends, family, mother groups.
Meal prepping & making in bulk. Buying double when on special of items you regularly purchase anyway.
Calling companies such as insurances, electrical company to see if there is better deals or plans you can go onto.
Fuel check apps, like the 7/11 one which allows you to lock in a price for 7 days.

  • Buy second hand – it can save lots.

  • I think eating out is very expensive. We always cook at home. Also wo the presents. We don’t overdo it.

  • Storage correctlcy save food to throw out. Like bread to be freeze the excess. Veges to cut and clean to store in the fridge. find the hacks in Youtube
