Something physical is normally the best bet for 13 year old boys and lots and lots of food!

my son is turning 10 next week. ive asked him what he wanted to do and who to invite. he said he wanted a lazer tag party. turned out he only wanted to invite 5 friends so lazer tag off. ive actually got some ideas from pinterest which we are having a harry potter theme party at home.
if you get to ask your son who he wants to invite so you have the number of friends in your mind, you can guide him to what would be situable for.
my nefews goes to the shed (skate/scooter/bike) for a couple of hours, last one he did was the trampoline place. my nefew is turning 11 on Monday, he chosed to go to carlton football training with his family who are big carlton supporters.
my other nefew didn’t do anything for his 13th as he didn’t want to do anything.

I have two teens and movies, laser tag and air time (trampolines) have all been popular in the last few years here. Now they are 15 and 16 they usually meet friends for a movie and a meal.

A movie nigh sleep over party? Popcorn, pizzas and some junk food and then movies until they all fall asleep.

What about a paintball party followed by pizza

What about a bowling party??

Taking some friends to somewhere like Bounce.. we went there for my son’s 12th birthday and it was great

Go paintballing.
Take him and a couple of mates to a big football/hockey/basketball game.
Go camping, invite a couple of mates.

I only have girls but each of my girls wanted something different for their 13th.
One was lucky enough to have a bulk discount price for a party bus outting where the bus (min van) arrived and took all the girls out for the day and they went to one of those places where they shot each other with paint balls. Then they went somewhere to play arcade games. They kids that wanted to go on the bus were given a time to be here and told the cost….it was made clear to parents that they didnt have to do this…it was just an extra option and for those that couldnt afford it or didnt want to go but still wanted to take part in the party then the bus would get back at x time so they could join is then. Most of the kids opted to go on the bus and I was left alone for 4 and a half hours to get everything ready for the party…it was excellent. By the time that got back they were exhausted so at party food and other then that they were happy to sit and chat.

daughter #2 had what we called an auction party where i purchased a load of different items from sams. Dvds, books, bath bombs, fancy pens, notebooks, etc. We held games to get play money and then we auctioned off lots but no one knew what was in the lot until they had purchased it. Some things were really good. Others were jokes like a plastic spoon or a rubber band. The girls thought it was really funny when someone would pay $130 for a plastic spoon.

Daughter #3 just wanted to have a Pizza party where they had pizzas delivered and watched DVDS.

What does he like? Maybe figure out what his favourite things are and work from there — would he like just a nice simple BBQ with some mates? Would he want something with all the family, or just mates? I’d try and involve him with the main parts to gauge his interest, he probably won’t be interested in the small stuff but once some ideas are thrown his way he might get a bit more excited to be involved? Depends on where you live and what is in your area. A photo booth is fun, I know of kids thats have paint ball parties, laser tag, zipline tours, pool party maybe? goodluck.

Paint balling, laser skirmish and indoor go karting were all popular with my son at that age, also camping in the scrub, but we live on a rural property and it depends on the weather conditions too

Movie theatres offer great party packages for this age group. Also arcade centres & bowling alleys

maybe a trampoline arena or movies?

What about bowling, a pizza and movie night, games night, camping, sorry I’m not very helpful as we had a girl and thinking what a young lad would like has me a bit stuck as well.

Laser tag, my boys love it!

Maybe take them to laser zone, or something similar than consist of them being boys and running around.

My niece organized Paint-balling for her 14 year old son’s birthday, and he and his friends loved it. Her 12 year old wanted to go to an Adventure Park for the day, so that’s what they did.

i know it goes way to fast!

For my sons 13th we went white water rafting! The kids had an absolute ball.
