Disposable was easier for me. I was keen to try cloth but it was just too much work unfortunately.

i used disposable ones. each to their own i think. =) it was easier for me, less things to do and was not harmful for bub’s skin.

I personally prefer disposable especially with more then one child in. Nappies

I bought 3 dozen cloth nappies when my first baby was due. These lasted for my second baby also, didn’t do a third. I bought disposables to use for when we were out and about, for convenience, didn’t want to lug dirty nappies around. If I could do it again, I think I might go for disposables full time, just for the more time doctor. It takes a long time and work to keep those cloth ones clean

I had used cloth … until we went on holiday, for convenience we brought disposable. During our holiday Number 1’s rash cleared up…. after than we stuck with Disposables.

I was the mum who was big on cloth nappies but my gosh when you use disposables its so much easier keeps baby dryer not as much washing and not just the nappies im talking clothes and sheets, everything stays so much cleaner with disposable.

Disposable are so much more convenient.

Disposable nappies for the reasons of hygine, cleanliness, no rash, plus they are cheap enough nowadays.

It depends what will work best for your family, cloth nappies are a nice idea but a lot of work in reality

I went with disposable – wasn’t that keen on the constant washing – especially when they told me how many nappies you would go through in a day.

I opted for disposable as I found everything hard enough to cope with as it was, and would rather spend that extra time doing other important things than washing , hanging and folding nappies.

I like both but it all depends if you want to spend money and buy disposable or spend money and use electricity and water to wash cloth.

Disposable are easy and keep baby drier and suck the pee away from there skin. Clothes aren’t a real lot of work though

I used both. It can be expensive at first to go cloth, while you build your stash, but in the long run it will save you money. MCN’s are surprisingly quick and easy to clean, and it doesn’t take a lot of scrubbing to clean them like it can with the terry towelling squares. I used disposables at night and for when we went out, more just for the convenience of it (I didn’t want to carry around a pooey nappy if bub was to poo while out and about).
I think it’s best to make an informed decision on the facts, look at what would be better for your lifestyle. People are so quick to judge cloth nappies on the ‘washing factor’ and don’t even give them a chance.

It depends on you I would prefer disposable ones, less hassle

It really is a personal decision. You have to weigh up the pros and cons in terms of what is best for your family.

More expensive when u add all the effort water n cleaning products u need to use!

I heard cloth are more expensive but can be better for the budget in the long run, I think I’ll be sticking to disposable nappies though
