Ergo is a lifesaver with our 2nd child. So thankful we got it! Especially with school drop off/pick ups

We used an Ergo with an ergo insert that made it higher and protected baby’s head more. Some brands don’t have the right gaps in the hip region for the corerction position of baby’s legs and it can cause serious hip problems,

We bought a baby bjorne when we had our first and although very popular I only used it a handful of times and up until he was about 5 months. I thinks it’s good where babies are small and like to snuggle on your chest, but once they get tall is kind of waste of money.

Interesting question. Would love to hear what others say as Im expecting number 3 also and not sure if I should buy one or not. had a hug-a-bub with number 1 & 2 but didnt really use it as it was too tricky for me to figure out

I had a baby bjorn – hated it – could only carry my son until he was 5 months of age.
For my daughter I got an Ergo and absolutely loved it. I could still wear my daughter on my back when she was 3. Took a bit of practice to get used to putting her on my back but once I did it was awesome.

I like a wrap carrier, but they do take a bit of practice to get the wrap right. Great for those nights when baby is upset and can’t get to sleep. I used mine many times when my son was teething or unwell and my arms just weren’t strong enough hold him for an extended time. I could snuggle him in next to me and keep him calm enough for him to sleep.

I had a babybjorn and a wrap style one. I ended up using the wrap style most as it was easier to adjust between me and my husband, quicker to get on and off, and ultimately, more comfortable.

My extra advice? Try them on in store – and take a weighted something to test for comfort when they actually have a baby in them!! Also, check out reviews online as there seem to be many more available now than nearly 10 years ago.

The only carrier I had for my babies as my arms. Sorry I can’t help you more
