  • pjs, toothbrush,, shampoo and conditioner (nice to have a cleansing shower afterwards), underwear, pads, nappies, wipes, toothpaste, moisturiser, day clothes (comfy), warm socks and jumper as hospitals often cold. Clothes to take bub home, wraps, camera or phone, magazine, chocolate, maybe a few nibbly foods like muesli bars as you get quite hungy with feeds etc and hospital food sometimes isn’t enough. Good luck

  • 2-3 changes of outfits for bubs
    1 blanket
2 changes of jammies for you
1 comfy change of clothes (for when you leave)
A few nappies (depending on what the hospital supplies)
Ipod/phone for music and movies plus headphones and charger
Change for snacks or bring your own snacks
    Bottle of water
    Pen and paper/book
And fave dressing gown and slippers

  • I packed the nappy bag for bubs, l used zip lock bags marked with each clothes size (00000, 0000, 000) in each l had a long and short jumpsuit. However l didn’t use any coz my gabby Brought a new outfit to go home in.

With my stuff l packed extra undies and singlet nursing tops.
Two long pants and two pj shorts, slippers, toiletries
I also added a new set of clothes for my hubby.

Make sure you take a notepad and pen so you can write down your labour story for you to remember.

  • dressing gown, slippers, comfy pjs and clothes, undies, toiletries, book or tablet and my fave to recommend for anyone not having a caesarean is URAL! You will be all grazed up inside and the ural takes away the acidity of your urine and it makes those trips to the toilet much nicer haha pads and breast pads (if breast feeding) comfy loose tops as well Phone/tablet charger as well and maybe even a new memory card!

  • Wipes for yourself! A must!
