  • I find making a homemade hair detailed to be helpful, spray in their hair and brush through morning & night. It’s just a mixture of water, hair conditioner & essential oils in a spray bottle. Just search on Google for a recipe.

  • Different styles of haircuts can help with the knots and tangles. The way you wear your hair is also a major influence. Is it possible at night to put her hair up to prevent it from getting wild? I have medium- long hair and don’t even own a brush, yet mine doesn’t get knots in it. I do have my heir up most of the time as I feel hot and heavy when it’s down but My hair is also thick and there’s lots of it..

  • Shampoo and condition, try leave the conditioner in for a few minutes before rinsing. I used to plait hair before bed and also used a spray on hair detangler. Hope you got it sorted

  • Regular hear cut, a shorter cut makes it easier, plenty of conditioner, coconut oil and a plaid in the hair for the night !

  • I used to have a de tangling spray for my daughter. Also regular trims and conditioning the ends

  • Regular trims to remove dead ends. Use a conditioner when washing. And there’s sprays you can buy to reduce tangles too

  • yeah keeping it shortish or at least thinned out and layered will really help you here

  • My daughter’s is the same, will brush before bed and wakes up with a birds nest as a head.

  • detangle spray or make your own–conditioner in water
    get a haircut

  • try a good shampoo and detangle spray

  • Pantene conditioner tangle free is excellent@

  • I had that problem and the best thing for shiny, healthy hair that didn’t tangle was using a PPS Leave-in conditioner called “The Ends”. It’s available from specialist shops like Priceline, or some hairdressers. You only need to use a little of it, and it works a treat.

  • Get it trimmed regularly, stops the ends breaking and drying out. When washing hair, shampoo once then condition, leave for a few minutes and comb through hair in the shower. You can use kids sprays like No more Tangles when doing hair in the morning. Or use Morroccan Oil or similar. Brushing hair every night before bed also helps stop the knots building up at the back underneath, lots of kids end up with dreds under there!

  • You could try combing some coconut oil through it?

  • there are some good comments here

  • Make sure hair is trimmed regularly as split ends and dry hair make it worse. Tie her hair up, don’t leave it out when she is sleeping. Put it in plats. Brush her hair three times a day as the more eaten you brush the less chance of larger knots. Try a different shampoo and conditioner. Maybe invest in good quality products. They can really make a difference.

  • Try a leave in hair moisturiser

  • After shampooing, use a good conditioner and comb thru hair with a widetoothed comb. Use a good brush to suit her hair type,

  • Some good advice there below.

  • depends on when it tangles – try plaits and braids
