Around 12 months of age.

I never sterilised a bottle. I only used glass bottles so I could wash them in very hot water, sterilising them didn’t seem necessary.

My kids didn’t have a bottle til 8-9 months of age. I never sterilised them, they were washed in hot soapy water, rinsed in hot water and scrubbed with a brush

I stopped sterilization when my kiddies started eating solids. Although a lot of mums in my circle stopped around 12 months.

I never really sterilised mine. I just washed them in hot water.

I still do it out of habbit and my LO is 9 months!
I dont think it matters after they can crawl and put stuff in their mouth?
But Mum discretion!
I just like knowing they are germ free!

i stoped at 12 months…. i think this is a good age

12 months I started to stop,

I stopped sterilizing at 12 months.

I stopped once my bubs were eating solids.

I would say about 12 months old

from about six months babies can have their bottles washing in hot soapy water as their immune system is much stronger from then on.

Hope you find the answers you’re looking for. People seem to have lots of different beliefs for this.

With things like chewing toys I steralised them once, then would just wash them in hot soapy water from time to time. Bottles, I never stopped steralising, but I breastfed and only used bottles from time to time so was basically steralising them in case anything crawled over them while they were being stored in the cupboard.
