It’s something that many women are too embarrassed to talk about – but one in three women experience bladder leakage, usually during pregnancy, after giving birth or throughout menopause.

And instead of feeling ashamed or hiding the common ‘silent syndrome’, women are being encouraged to take take part in a free 12-week pelvic floor exercise program.

As part of the Poise Pledge campaign, women are able to take part in the free, physiotherapy-led pelvic floor exercise program to help strengthen their pelvic floor and reduce bladder leakage symptoms.

As part of the campaign, women are being reminded that they’re not alone.

“I am one of the thousands of Australian women who would NEVER speak about bladder leakage,” explained media personality Fiona Falkiner.

“Experiencing bladder leakage has made me feel ashamed and let down by my body. It’s something I was too scared to talk to anyone about. But, that stops now.”

If you’re keen to take control of your bladder leakage symptoms and shake the stigma around this common issue, head to the Pelvic Support Hub.
