Guests at a Sydney baby gender reveal party were shocked when police arrived, ready to arrest the father-to-be, before he’d even learnt the gender of his baby.
A video shared by dad-to-be Mina Ibrahim shows two officers placing him under arrest, before he interjects to explain: “So that’s me being arrested at my baby’s gender reveal.”
Guest can be seen trying to intervene as the police officers attempt to put handcuffs on Mina, who repeats, “You’re not allowed to come into our house.”
While guests yell, “Get out.”
But just before Mina is handcuffed, one of the officers turns around and yells, “Everyone calm down. Congratulations, it’s a baby girl.”
The entire scene was fake, in one of the most unique gender reveals we’ve seen!
Mina explains, “So it was the cops who announced to everyone that I was having a baby girl. And there was a fake balloon inside that everyone thought the reveal was coming from.”

The video was shared on TikTok, with hundreds of people congratulating the couple on an epic gender reveal hoax.
“Brutal reveal!” one person commented.
“You scared me with this,” said another.
“I fell for it and I was worried for your wife !!! I was freaking out hahahah you got me.”
