There are many hairstyles for school that are creative and easy to do which means more energy for us and more joy for our girls. Whether you are looking for hairstyles for school or for every day walks you are in the right place.

It’s really hard when you have to fight with your child over what hairstyle they want. ‘No this hurts’, ‘We did that the other day’, ‘Why can’t you braid my hair like Elsa’s?’ and this goes on until you both settle on the usual hairstyle. But what if there were more choices to pick from? We gathered some easy to do hairstyles for school that will save you lots of time and you can also use them when you go out with your little girl. They are perfect for casual outings and school playgrounds!.

1. Minnie Mouse Hair

Who doesn’t want to look cute all the time? This hairstyle is perfect as it looks pretty and only requires a few minutes to do it! Simply put her hair into a ponytail and then fold her hair over using an elastic to keep them in place. Complete the bow by wrapping the rest of the hair around and you are done!

2. Ribbon Braid Wrapped Sock Bun

The name might sound complicated but the actual hairstyle is not! We find this one of the cutest hairstyles for school and we really like that it takes only five minutes to get it done! You will need a sock bun, some elastics and bobby pins for this one. If you don’t have a sock bun you can cut the top of a sock and roll the rest. You can also leave the hairstyle at the bun stage without doing the braid, it depends on how much time you have. There are many ways to use the sock bun for a beautiful but easy hairstyle. Just click on the picture for the tutorial.

3. Princess braids

This one is very simple and has a fantastic finished look. You will only need some elastics and two claw hair clips. Section the hair into two and then braid the two sections. After you are done, just clip them up to finish the princess look! Just like the other hairstyles for school this one also takes around 5 minutes to complete.

4. Across braid

We love hairstyles that are quick and cute and we couldn’t exclude this one! This takes a bit less than five minutes and it might be a bit more complicated than the other ones, but once you get the hang of it it’s actually easy. You can start by braiding from the top right side towards the left side so the braid can be across the head. You only need an elastic, a brush and a spray gel to do this hairstyle and you can finish it off using a ribbon so it can look even cuter!

 5. Braided ponytail

Imagine how easy this is! Even your little girl could do it! You only need some elastics and a brush. First, section the hair in two and then braid one of the sections. After you braided the hair then combine the two sections and secure them with an elastic. Proceed by braiding the two sections together (the braid and the rest of the hair). Secure with an elastic and the look is finished! Don’t forget to click on the picture for the video tutorial.

The hairstyles can change depending on the length of the hair. You can also add extra hair clips, ribbons and bows to give them a more personal look.
