How to detangle Barbie's hair!

Anyone with kids who have Barbie’s or any doll with long synthetic hair will tell you that getting knots or tangles out is near impossible. Never fear, we’ve found an easy solution!

How to detangle Barbie’s hair

What you’ll need:

Pot
Fabric softener
Water
Hard bristle hairbrush

Method:

Add 1/4 cup of fabric softener to a pot and fill with very hot water.
Place Barbie’s head in the pot and leave to soak for 10 minutes.
Take the Barbies out of the pot and brush their hair and the knots out will brush out easily.
Rinse Barbie to make sure fabric softener is removed.
Leave Barbie to dry.

Voila! Works everytime – now… to just get the kids to look after their things!

It’s a great tip. I never had that problem having 2 boys but it would have been handy for the granddaughters

Ooh, much needed hint in this household. I’ll give this a try. I guess add enough hot water to be deep enough to cover their heads, not too much?

Simple. I was going to suggest wet it and put hair conditioner through it. I imagine similar results.
