I’m always looking for ways to keep the kids entertained in the bath and this bubble bath play dough is so much fun. Try it out at home today.

How to make your own bubble bath play dough

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of bubble bath
  • 1/2 cup-3/4 cup corn flour
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
  • essential oil (optional)
  • colouring (optional)

Method:

  1. If you are using colouring or essential oil, mix in a bowl with the bubble bath.
  2. Add the coconut oil.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of corn flour and knead until it forms a ball. You can slowly add the extra 1/4 of a cup if needed.
  4. Your playdough is ready, store it in a sealed container ready for use.
  5. Give your child one tablespoon ball of playdough and watch them be amazed at the bubbles appearing in the bath!

Please note this will make the bath slippery if you give them too much.

  • I’m fully willing to try this, but wouldn’t the cornflour make a gooey mess? Like a flour and water paste mix. Hmmm, not sure

  • So cool! I am concerned about the use of cornflour though. Wouldn’t that make the bath murky? I know when you mix water and cornflour the cornflour often sits on the bottom quite hard

  • so this stuff dissolves in the bath? Going to have to try it ;)

    • I am hoping it does might try it out in a baby bath first , children use this for water play.

      • I agree with you, if it is going to make the bath slippery it is possibly a combination of the bubble bath and the coconut oil which is going to leave an oily residue. Even if you put a special bath mat that should sop you from slipping a bath it don’t think it would prevent the problem.
I may not be popular commenting this but the product is too close the the baby’s left eye for my liking. Bubble bath is like detergent.
