  • I am thinking it is pretty dam hard for a lot of moms with bubs and youngens to have perfectly nice nails. Constantly washing etc etc takes it’s toll.

  • I’ve never been good at painting my nails and I tend to bite my nails. I recently tried Jamberry and whenever I have my jamberry nail wraps on, it stops me biting them and they look great.

  • I used to have nails, lovely nails. Since becoming a mother, they’re just terrible. I try and try and try. Painting them is a waste of time because I’m always chipping or washing the polish away. Once in a blue moon I treat myself, or for a special occasion. I envy beautiful nails and long for the days when I had them.

  • I have just resigned myself to never having perfect nails. I bite mine too much anyway! But I do think using a cotton bud with a little bit of nail polish remover to clean up the edges also works well.

  • Thanks for the tip, I am horrible at painting my nails, I get the polish all over the skin and cuticle. Will have to try this tip out.

  • Have a cotton bud and nail polish remover handy next to you so that if you do accidently get it on your skin you can use the buds dipped in polish remover to remove any polish outside your nail area. It is best to do one layer first then tidy the sides up when it dries .
