While the kids are busy getting ready to return to school with fresh new uniforms and stationery, it’s the perfect time to chat to them about being kind at school this year and to look out for their classmates.
Smiggle has once again partnered with Dolly’s Dream, to spread kindness and awareness of bullying, and your kids can get involved and become Kindness Heroes!
By dropping into a Smiggle store and purchasing one of the specially crafted Choose Kindness badges and keyrings for just $2, you’re helping to support Dolly’s Dream and its work in changing the culture of bullying. Kids can also take the Kindness Pledge while in store, and they’ll get a free Kindness Certificate.
Since Smiggle and Dolly’s Dream first partnered in 2020, more than $100,000 has been raised to help Dolly’s Dream carry out it’s important work.
Dolly’s Dream was started by Kate and Tick Everett, after they lost their beautiful 14-year-old daughter Dolly to suicide, following ongoing bullying. The devastated parents wanted to make a positive impact by changing the culture of bullying and help support children suffering from the impacts of bullying.
The funds raised by purchasing Dolly’s Dream badges and keyrings go directly towards funding the Dolly’s Dream telephone support like, workshops, Beacon Cyber Safety App and the online Parent Hub which all offer support, advice and solutions for kids and parents.
