Former MasterChef contestant Justine Schofield and her former AFL star beau Brent Staker welcomed their beautiful baby boy, just in time for Father’s Day.

The couple announced the arrival of Louis Staker on their Instagram accounts, with both revealing their son’s name is pronounced ‘Loui’.

Justine shared an Instagram story with a snap of Brent carrying his newborn son out of hospital, with the caption, ‘Happy first Father’s Day’. Naaw! The pair celebrated their baby shower in July as they awaited the arrival of their first baby. They joined family and friends at Bronte Surf Lifesaving Club in Sydney for the event, with Justine sharing a series of happy snaps on social media. There are reports that the celebration doubled as a gender reveal party, but Justine had kept mum about the gender of her bub. The Everyday Gourmet host first revealed that she was expecting Instagram in May, saying, “We’re having a bubba. So excited, so grateful.” Brent also shared the news on social media, saying, “Very exciting times ahead…soon to be ‘all hands on deck’ welcoming our new bub.” The 36-year-old MasterChef alum and her 37-year-old partner have been together since March 2020. Justine previously opened up about her love life, revealing on Gary Mehigan’s A Plate to Call Home podcast how difficult it’s been maintaining relationships while filming her cooking show.

“I’ve had two terrible break-ups throughout the ten years, and it all comes down to not being around because I’m always on the road. Now I’m in a loving relationship and I remind myself that I do need to say no to things sometimes.”

Justine previously dated TV presenter and journalist Matt Doran from 2014 to 2017.
