Actress Lindsay Lohan is positively glowing after giving birth to her first baby last month, and has shared a refreshing glimpse into her postpartum journey.

The 36-year-old actress and her husband, Bader Shammas, Lindsay welcomed their first baby, a son, with a gorgeous Arabic name in July.

Confirming the news to People, via their rep, revealing their son’s name is Luai. The Arabic name means ‘shield or protector’.

“Lindsay Lohan and her Financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai. The family is over the moon in love,” the rep told People.

She’s now shared her first snap since the birth, declaring she’s amazed by her body, while referencing one of the most iconic lines from her movie Mean Girls.

“I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery. Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world! My OOTD lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear. Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom.”

It comes after Lindsay shared the sweetest snaps of her baby’s nursery, as she awaited her little one’s arrival.

She shared a series of photos of her gorgeous nursery, which has a nautical and soft blue theme. She designed the serene space with brand Nestig.

“I loved working with @nestigbaby to create my dream nursery—everything is handmade and perfect for any little one in your life!” she captioned the images.

“So excited to show you my nursery and the collection I designed with @nestigbaby! Everything is inspired by the beach and is so peaceful and playful.”

It comes a few weeks after the actress shared photos from her baby shower.

The 36-year-old Mean Girls star announced that she was pregnant in March, by posting an image of a baby onesie, with the words ‘coming soon …’, and captioned the photo, “We are blessed and excited!” She also shared the image on her Instagram stories, tagging her husband Bader Shammas.

It’s the first child for the couple, who will celebrate one year of marriage in July. Lindsay revealed the pair was engaged in November 2021, and confirmed in July 2022 that they were married.

At the time Lindsay gushed about her husband, in an Instagram post, “I am the luckiest woman in the world. Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time.

“I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday.” The couple live in Dubai, where Lindsay has lived for the past seven years.

The iconic actor has shared some intimate photos from her baby shower, captioning the Instagram post: “Good times. So grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life.”

Guests at her New York City baby shower included her sister Aliana, her mum Dina and other family and friends.
