Time to get your Happy Meal on, because McDonald’s is dropping a limited-edition building set for McHappy Day and yes we want fries with that!

The 56-piece Macca’s Makers brick building set is destined to become a collector’s item, and launches on November 8, ahead of McHappy Day on 18th November.

Macca's brick set

The building set is a replica of a Macca’s restaurant and includes glow-in-the-dark Golden Arches, crew and manager figurines, McCafe, Playland, front counter and drive through. And here’s the kicker – it’s compatible with other brands of building bricks!

The sets can be purchased for $36.95 from your nearest Macca’s or via McDelivery from 8th November, with 100% of the profits being donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

As well as the new brick set, you can also help raise funds by:

  • During McHappy Time (from 18 October) – Picking up a pair of Silly Socks for $5.95, or Helping Hands for $2, $10 or $50, from their local Macca’s or via McDelivery.
  • On McHappy Day (Saturday, 18 November) – Buying a Big Mac from their local Macca’s or via McDelivery, with $2 from every Big Mac sold going directly to RMHC.
  • Making a donation online.

Will you be rushing to your local Macca’s to get your hands on one? Let us know in the comments below!

  • Looks cool but I wouldn’t rush to buy one.

  • I’d love to be able to buy this for my Great Grandson but I don’t live anywhere near a store and they don’t deliver to my area either. It’s a shame because it is for a good cause

  • I love these type of toys, but I am not sure about promoting McDonalds to my kids. Not the healthiest foods.

  • My kids will want this just because it’s Lego-like.

  • Very cute, but a little expensive

  • A great cause, but I’d rather donate the money!

  • It’s a pity a few people look at the price tag before thinking they’re helping out a very good cause … I hope those people never need to use the services Ronald McDonald House provides. I think it would make a great stocking stuffer.

    • You’re right, I agree with you

  • $36.95?! Way too much! I think this multi billion dollar company should use more of their profits on eliminating their environmental impact instead of creating more plastic toys

  • My youngest is obsessed with McDonald’s merchandise. I’m definitely heading down on Wednesday to purchase one. He would be so excited on Christmas Day to get his own McDonald’s. I can just imagine it now. He currently will only wear the McDonald’s socks.

  • What a great little brick collection. I just don’t buy McDonald’s all that often so won’t be able to collect this for my little one.
