Roast Pork Shoulder Small

  • Best cut of Pork

    5 out of 5

This cut is small enough for two people and is easy to cook in the slow cooker, then pop under the grill to get the best crackling ever. Everyone is happy and the leftovers, should you have any, are easy to make up into another meal.

  • Best to Slow Cook

I love this pork shoulder for slow cooker recipes. Its cheap and feeds a crowd. It’s sleazy to just throw in a slow cooker and let it cook until the meat is shredded.

I love cooking roasts especially roast pork. I love crackle! I personally find the shoulder more juicy. It’s so filling, so yummy and all the oils and fats from the tray make a lovley gravy.

This is the lightest colour cut of pork and the tastiest. It is our favourite in the camp oven. We cook one at least once a month and the left over pork always goes to making a fried rice the next night.
