Salad recall

The recall is due to potential microbial (Listeria monocytogenes) contamination. Listeria may cause illness in pregnant women and their unborn babies, the elderly and people with low immune systems.

Anyone who has purchased any of the products is being told not to eat it, and instead return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Anyone concerned about their health should seek medial advice.

  • Very scary as often people would buy a meal like this and consume it as soon as they leave the store or within 24 hours. What if you miss the recall notice?

  • It is concerning with the amount of recalls over the last year or so. Either there are more than usual, or I am just taking more notice.

  • This is not a product I have seen on the shelf, but thanks for the tip

    • Certainly is scary for everyone especially our pregnant ladies. Lucky they are being recalled.

  • Thanks for alerting us all to this recall. I refuse to eat ready prepared food after having had food poisoning last year so I wouldn’t had had these anyway. It is more than just the elderly or pregnant who have to be careful. Listeria has been known to kill seemingly healthy people.
