Ingredients (serves 8)
- 8 slices White bread
- 1 cup Raw almonds
- 1 cup Raw brazil nuts
- 6 cups Dried shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup honey
- 5 T maple syrup
- almond flakes to decorate
Method
- In a food processor, process coconut until smooth and buttery like. Add in honey, almonds and brazil nuts and continue to process until they are smooth.
- On 4 bread slices, spread maple syrup.
- Spread the other 4 breads with the nut butter generously. Overfill them if you like!
- Stack the maple syrup bread on top of the nut butter bread. Spread more nut butter. Sprinkle almond flakes and bake for 15 minutes on 350F.
- Best served hot!
