Ingredients (serves 8)

  • 8 slices White bread
  • 1 cup Raw almonds
  • 1 cup Raw brazil nuts
  • 6 cups Dried shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 5 T maple syrup
  • almond flakes to decorate

Method

  1. In a food processor, process coconut until smooth and buttery like. Add in honey, almonds and brazil nuts and continue to process until they are smooth.
  2. On 4 bread slices, spread maple syrup.
  3. Spread the other 4 breads with the nut butter generously. Overfill them if you like!
  4. Stack the maple syrup bread on top of the nut butter bread. Spread more nut butter. Sprinkle almond flakes and bake for 15 minutes on 350F.
  5. Best served hot!
