Serve with sliced apple or vegies or curried dippers
Ingredients (serves 10)
- 350 grams Smoked Mackerel - skinned and boned
- 1 soft eating apple peeled, cored and cut into chunks
- 2/3 Cup Fromage Frais
- Pinch Paprika or Curry powder
- salt and pepper
Method
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend for around 2 minutes, then check the seasonings.
- Pour into a bowl and chill
Notes
I no longer have a food processor, so I have not made this for ages, but it is one I used to make a lot. You can use other fish, but I found mackerel works best with the apple
