A yummy dessert made in the airfryer


Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 2 Small apples
  • 2 Sheets of puff pastry
  • 1 Tbs Apricot jam
  • 2 Tbs Sultanas
  • 1 Tbs Milk
  • Custard to serve

Method

  1. Preheat airfryer for 10 mins on 170 degrees
  2. Peel and core apples. Scoop out some extra flesh after coring
  3. Place apple on centre of puff pastry sheet.
  4. Mix jam and sultanas together and fill apple cores with this mixture.
  5. Encase apples completely with pastry
  6. Place on a small tray and brush apples in milk.
  7. Place in airfryer for 20 minutes
  8. Serve lukewarm with custard

  • I’ve made baked apple frequently but just in the oven. I often skip the jam and fill them just with sultana’s with a drizzle of lemon juice and cinnamon.
