This delish recipe has the same great taste as an Italian lasagna but easier. Made with gnocchi and meatballs!
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 500 grams Beef Mince
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 Brow Onion
- 375 grams Ricotta Cheese
- 500 grams Gnocchi
- 700 grams Pasta Sauce (Like Tomato & Basil)
- 1 Bunch Fresh Basil
Method
- Combine beef mince, breadcrumbs, garlic and egg. Form into 1 inch size meatballs.
- Add onion and olive oil to pan. When onion browns, add meatballs and brown.
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Layer pasta sauce, gnocchi and add meatballs and lumps of ricotta to a casserole dish. Bake for 20 mins.
- Season with salt and Pepper. Top with fresh basil for a hint of freshness.
