The best recipe I have made for quiche. Always a hit!
Ingredients (serves 8 | makes 8 slices)
- 2 Sheets Puff Pastry
- 200g Bacon - Chopped
- 1 Onion - Halved - Chopped
- 1 cup Grated cheese
- 4 Large eggs, beaten lightly
- 150ml Thick cream
- 150mls Milk
Method
- Grease pan and line with puff pustry, bake for 10mins covered with baking paper and pastry weights (or rice), remove once cooked and take off weights/paper, cook again 10mins. Remove.
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, mix and then add to pan. Cook for 20mins or until firm.
Notes
This recipe can also be adapted to add such things as tomato, capsicum, spring onion.. really whatever takes your fancy :)
