Soft, moorish chocolate chip cookies, they are almost identical to Betty Crocker’s.


Ingredients (makes 18 Cookies)

  • 2 1/2 cups Self Raising Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp Corn Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup White sugar
  • 3/4 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1 tbs Vanilla Essence
  • 1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips

Method

  1. In a large bowl mix flour, baking soda, corn flour & salt together.
  2. In another bowl whisk brown sugar, white sugar and butter until sugar dissolves. Add in eggs and vanilla and whisk until combined.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry. Use a wooden spoon to combine. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Bake in oven at 160c for 10-12 minutes. They will appear under cooked, that's what you want. Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire rack.

Notes

WARNING these are delicious and you will want to eat them all! Make sure you have friends around to share with ;)
