Soft, moorish chocolate chip cookies, they are almost identical to Betty Crocker’s.
Ingredients (makes 18 Cookies)
- 2 1/2 cups Self Raising Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 1/2 tsp Corn Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup White sugar
- 3/4 cup Butter (melted)
- 1 Egg
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 1 tbs Vanilla Essence
- 1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
Method
- In a large bowl mix flour, baking soda, corn flour & salt together.
- In another bowl whisk brown sugar, white sugar and butter until sugar dissolves. Add in eggs and vanilla and whisk until combined.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry. Use a wooden spoon to combine. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Bake in oven at 160c for 10-12 minutes. They will appear under cooked, that's what you want. Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire rack.
