This is a very simple and quick mid week dinner.

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 1 packet gnocchi
  • 50g butter
  • 14 sage leaves
  • 1 cup finely grated parmesan

Method

  1. Cook gnocchi as per instructions.
  2. Melt butter over medium heat and add the sage leaves.
  3. Cook for about 4 minutes until butter just starts to turn slightly brown and leaves crisp up.
  4. Add drained gnocchi and season.
  5. Put into bowls and sprinkle heavily with parmesan.

  • I don’t know if I have ever tasted sage. I have seen similar recipes and am curious to give it a try.

  • This certainly sounds amazing and of course super easy. I would of course love extra cheese as I am a cheese addict but im thinking I would like extra butter also. Cheesy and buttery sounds super indulgent and just perfect for me. Great to whip up on a cold night
