These Butternut Snap Tarts are quick little desserts that everyone will love – mix it up and do some caramel as well – see recipe notes
Ingredients (makes 20 )
- 1 Packet Butternut Snap Biscuits
- 200g Milk chocolate
- 65g Unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup Cream
- Tim tams, mars bars, snickers, whatever chocolate you like
Method
- Put your favourite chocolate bar you would like to have on top in the freezer as it is easier to cut when frozen.
- Pre heat oven to 180 degrees. Fill a shallow patty pan up with biscuits and bake a couple of minutes until soft. As soon as they come out of the oven gently press on each biscuit so they mould into the patty pan shape. Leave to cool
- Place butter, cream and chocolate in a saucepan on very low heat. Stir until chocolate all melted and smooth
- Fill biscuits with chocolate filling. Cut up your desired chocolate bar into pieces and add on top. Put in refrigerator to cool
Notes
I also do caramel filling which are easier when your in a rush. Just buy the caramel filling in a can and spoon straight into the biscuits once they are moulded. Add your favourite chocolate bar on top
