Home made/Slow cooker Chocolate Yoghurt.

Ingredients (serves 3)

  • 3 tbsp Cornflour
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa
  • 2 tbsp Raw Sugar (can substitute with caster sugar)
  • 600 ml Milk

Method

  1. Place all ingredients (except milk) into a preheated slow cooker. Add 200ml milk to start with, and mix to a smooth paste.
  2. Add remaining milk once ingredients are combined. Cook on high - Stirring every 5 mins or so for about 45 mins (Do not place lid on slow cooker).
  3. Once thickened pour into moulds and chill in fridge. You can store these for up to 5 days. Option: Grate chocolate or crush up flakes for an extra treat :)

  • I wouldn’t dare to call this a yoghurt as it has no culture, but sure is a nice idea to do it in the slow-cooker. Might be nice with almond milk or coconut as well

  • This sounds and looks delicious. I’m sure my kids would really enjoy this, and I’m going to try this tomorrow – a treat for the kids for the school holidays. It looks like chocolate mousse. :-)
