Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1 piece of silver side (mine was 1.8 kg)
  • 1 cup brown vinegar
  • 1 onion peeled

Method

  1. Place silverside in the Philips All-In-One Cooker, and add water until it covers the meat.
  2. Add the onion and brown sugar.
  3. Cook on PRESSURE COOKING mode for 45 minutes.
  4. Enjoy.

Notes

I used a 1.8 kilo piece of meat if yours isn't as big as that then I wouldn't cook it for as long. I like to slice it all up finely and what isn't used at tea time we have for lunch the next day.

  • Great idea to use a pressure cooker – mine takes at least twice that long on the stovetop, hence it gets cooked less often than I would like. Thanks.
