A yummy family favourite! And such a versatile dish. You add or subtract anything you like.
Ingredients (serves 8)
- 1 Shredded Roast Chook from shop
- 1 600ml Thickened Cream
- 6-8 Pieces of shortcut bacon diced
- 2-3 Tbs Butter
- 2-3 Tbs Flour
- 1-2 cups Grated Cheese
- 2 Pks Filo pastry
- Spray oil
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees
- Using a pot, melt the butter. Once melted add flour and mix until combined
- Add thickened cream and stir until thickened. Then add your shredded chicken, bacon and grated cheese
- Once all combined, it’s time to assemble! Take one sheet of filo and spray with oil, repeat with a second sheet.
- Place 2Tbs of mixture towards the end of the sheet in the middle, fold both the length way sides and then roll.
- Place in greased tray and cook until lightly brown
