Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 250g Spaghetti
  • 500g Green Beans
  • 125g Bacon Chopped
  • 500g Mushrooms Sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • Grated parmesan cheese to finish

Method

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large saucepan. Add beans for the last 4 minutes of cooking, drain.
  2. Cook the bacon until crisp. Set aside. Lightly spray the pan with oil and cook the mushroom, stirring until golden. Add the garlic until fragrant.
  3. Combine the mushroom mixture, bacon and sour cream with the pasta and beans. Toss to combine. Serve with parmesan cheese and cracked pepper.

  • This looks yum but I may have to replace the beans with something else to get my husband to eat it…

  • This is like Spaghetti Cabonara and the whole family loves it . I tend to like tomato base sauces so normally I substitute it with tomato base sauce. Sometimes the cheese gets a little bit too overwhelming for me . It tastes great if you plug your nose .
