A egg, nut, dairy, soy and Gluten free dessert alternative.
Ingredients (serves 3)
- 2 Cups Milk
- 1/2 CUP White sugar
- 3 tbsps Cornflour
- 3 teapsoons Vanilla essence
- 1 pinch Salt
Method
- In medium saucepan over medium heat, heat milk until bubbles form at edges.
- In a bowl, combine sugar, cornflour and salt.
- Pour mixture into hot milk, a little bit at a time stirring to dissolve. Continue to cook and stir until mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon. Do not boil. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla essence. Pour into serving dishes. Can be Chilled before serving or eaten as a warm vanilla pudding.
