Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 500gm diced beef
  • 200mL Pasta sauce
  • 250gm Peas
  • 1 large carrot (sliced)
  • 1 large brown onion
  • 1 bulb garlic
  • 2 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tsp olive tapenade
  • 250 gm Dried pasta

Method

  1. In a food processor, process onion and garlic until fine. In a hot wok, pour in generous amount of olive oil and saute the chili and onion garlic mix.
  2. When they start to get very fragrant, add in carrot and beef. Cook for about 10 minutes, then add in pasta sauce and peas. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Add in olive tapenade and stir. Continue to cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, Cook pasta according to package :) Serve with generous amount of the yummy sauce you just made!

  • Diced beef is a nice alternative to mince!
