Ingredients (makes 20 )

  • 1 cup almonds and cashews
  • 1 cup dried mixed fruit
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • almond meal to coat

Method

  1. Mix all nuts in a food processor until coarsely ground.
  2. Add dried fruit and sweetener, and blend for another 30 seconds.
  3. Using wet hands, mix into teaspoon sized balls and roll in almond meal.

Notes

Vary the recipe by using whatever nuts and dried fruit you have on hand. To make this a vegan recipe use maple syrup or agave nectar instead of honey. Always roll the balls using wet hands otherwise the mixture will stick to your skin.

  • Nice recipe, I wouldn’t add honey though as the dried fruit makes it already so sweet, just use water instead.
