Yummy grilled haloumi salad


Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1 cup Lettuce leaves
  • 3cm cucumber
  • 5 snowpeas
  • 1 small carrot
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1/4 red capsicum
  • 2 mushrooms
  • 90g Haloumi
  • 5ml Greek dressing

Method

  1. Make carrot ribbons using a peeler. Arrange lettuce, sliced cucumber, snowpeas and carrot ribbons onto plate
  2. Slice Halloumi, cut mushrooms into quarters and cut capsicum and spring onions into bit size pieces. Grill in batches.
  3. Place grilled ingredients onto salad and drizzle with dressing.

  • I’ve never tried Haloumi but this recipe sure sounds good.

  • I’d love to try this with some raw onion, and olives added to it, with maybe some chopped anchovies as well.


    • Haloumi is so good and the best thing is extras can always be added to jazz up a recipe.
