Ingredients (serves 12)

  • 1 Spounge cake
  • 1 Quantity of chocolate butter icing
  • 1 bottle Black gel food Colouring
  • 1 Packet of white nestle choc melts

Method

  1. Carve out the shape of your skeleton from the sponge cake
  2. Mix the black gel food colour into the chocolate icing
  3. Cover the cake with the icing
  4. Melt the white choc melts in the microwave and spoon into the shape of bones
  5. decorate the cake with the skeleton bones

  • Great cake for Halloween – reminds me also of a dress up party my son went to as a skeleton – but he had to be sewn into the costume. Haha
