Delicious homemade yoghurt in the Philips All-In-One Cooker.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1 litre milk, room temperature.
  • 200g natural yoghurt

Method

  1. Pour the milk & yoghurt into the inner pot of your Philips All-In-One Cooker. Stir.
  2. Close the lid, press YOGHURT button & set the cooking time for 8 hours. Press START. Set the valve to SEAL position.

  • What a simple recipe to do. As a full time working mum who buys yoghurt pouches and tubs each week for school lunches, making it from scratch will definitely be on my to do list. I’m always keen on ways to save money with simple recipes like these. Thanks for sharing!

  • Homemade yogurt – great way to add your own flavours and limit the sugar. Thanks for posting.

  • Can you make yoghurt out of coconut milk and coconut cream?

    • Yes but you’ll need to add 1/4 tsp. non-dairy yogurt starter/probiotic OR 2-3 dairy-free probiotic pills. It also needs a sweetener (honey / coconut palm syrup / maple syrup) the sweetener provides food for the bacterial culture and your yogurt will not ferment well without it.
And after fermenting it needs grass-fed gelatin or agar agar added.

  • It’s fantastic, isn’t it? Instead of using 1 litre of cow milk, I use 400 ml coconut cream and 600 ml coconut milk. It’s delicious. And so easy indeed!!
