An old fashioned school holiday treat


Ingredients (makes 16 (approx))

  • 90g butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 4 cups cornflakes

Method

  1. Pre heat oven to 150 deg.
  2. Melt butter,sugar and honey together in saucepan until frothy , stirring constantly
  3. Add cornflakes and mix well
  4. Spoon heaped spoonfuls into patty pans
  5. Bake for 10 minutes

Notes

My neighbour when we were growing up used to make these and always had a supply of them for us when we called in to play with the kids next door
