After making Peppa the Pig and Zane the Zebra it was my turn for a yummy treat, and this creation pleased perfectly.

Ingredients

  • Golden Crumpet/s with Oats
  • Butter for spreading
  • Golden Syrup
  • Kiwi fruit slices
  • Icing sugar : optional

Method

  1. Toast Golden Crumpet with Oats till golden.
  2. Spread hot crumpet with butter.
  3. Spread a good lathering of golden syrup over the butter.
  4. Place a couple of slices of kiwi fruit on top of golden syrup.
  5. Enjoy!

  • My mindset is so rigid that when I hear people putting anything besides butter and honey on crumpets I can’t deal!

I miss crumpets. My partner had to go gluten free and as such I feel mean if I still have all the gluten yummies in the house.

I do enjoy the variants they bring out. And I really should try new things. That can be a resolution for 2022!

  • Love kiwi fruit, like crumpets, wouldn’t combine them though.

  • I’m not sure about the Kiwi fruit but it looks good and gave me an idea. If I make this I will just replace the kiwi fruit instead with banana.
