Pasta bakes are always a hit with the kids!


Ingredients (serves 8)

  • 500gm Pasta
  • 3 Spring onion
  • 8 rashes Short cut bacon
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 L Milk
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 200gm Cheese

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. To cook sauce: melt butter and add flour. Cook for one minute. Add milk in batches continually stirring, simmer for 5 minutes. Add cheese and simmer for 5 minutes. Sauce should thicken. Set aside.
  2. Cook pasta according to instructions.
  3. Chop bacon and onion and add to pan. Cook for 4 minutes.
  4. Combine pasta, bacon and onion in a dish and cover with the sauce. Cook for 20 minutes on 180 degrees until golden brown.

Notes

Try any pasta you like. Great served with veggies and steak.
