A spicy version of pasta salad.


Ingredients

  • 250 grams elbow pasta
  • 1/2 green capsicum
  • 1 chilli (or more if you like)
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • chilli sauce (optional)

Method

  1. Cook the pasta, drain and set aside to cool.
  2. Finely chop the capsicum and the chilli.
  3. Thickly grate the carrot.
  4. If using some chilli sauce mix the chilli sauce and the mayonnaise together.
  5. In a bowl mix all of the ingredients together.

Notes

Adding chilli sauce to the mayonnaise adds depth to the heat. Using different types of chilli sauce with change the flavour of the salad.
